Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Boiler Operator to operate, monitor and maintain boiler systems safely and efficiently. The candidate should have practical knowledge of boiler operations, pressure and temperature monitoring, routine maintenance, and industrial safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor boiler equipment to ensure safe and efficient functioning.
- Monitor boiler pressure, temperature, water level and steam output.
- Maintain appropriate boiler feedwater levels and monitor fuel consumption.
- Conduct routine inspections and identify abnormal operating conditions.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs.
- Maintain boiler logbooks, operating records and shift reports.
- Ensure proper water treatment and blowdown procedures as per operating requirements.
- Follow all applicable safety procedures and statutory requirements.
- Ensure housekeeping and safe working conditions in the boiler area.
- Report equipment faults, leaks, pressure fluctuations and other abnormalities promptly.

Required Skills & Qualifications





- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or a relevant technical trade preferred.
- Practical experience in industrial boiler operation.
- Knowledge of boiler controls, valves, pumps, feedwater systems and safety devices.
- Understanding of industrial safety procedures and emergency response.
- Ability to maintain operational records and communicate shift updates.
- Valid boiler operation certificate or competency certificate, wherever required under applicable regulations.

Experience

2–5 years of relevant industrial experience preferred. Candidates with experience in manufacturing, FMCG, chemical, pharmaceutical or other industrial facilities may apply, depending on the plant's requirements.

Candidate Profile

- Responsible and safety-conscious.
- Good observation and troubleshooting skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including rotational shifts if required.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with the engineering and maintenance teams.
