About the Role

Asoka World School is a fast-growing CBSE school in Kochi, committed to delivering high-quality education and a welcoming experience for students and parents.

We are seeking an experienced, commercially minded and personable Admissions & Business Development Manager to drive student enrolment, develop new admissions opportunities and contribute to the continued growth of our school.

This is a agile, parent-facing role combining admissions counselling, relationship management, outreach and enrolment development. The successful candidate will play an important part in supporting the school's continued growth by engaging with prospective families, building relationships and converting enquiries into admissions.

Key Responsibilities

- Take ownership of the admissions pipeline, from initial enquiry and lead generation through to confirmed enrolment.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase admissions enquiries, improve conversion rates and achieve enrolment targets.
- Respond promptly and professionally to admissions enquiries through phone, WhatsApp, email and other channels.
- Guide prospective parents through the school's curriculum, facilities, fee structure and admissions procedures.
- Conduct admissions counselling sessions, coordinate school visits and provide a welcoming experience for prospective families.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with prospective parents to convert enquiries into confirmed admissions.
- Plan and participate in outreach activities, community engagement initiatives, promotional events and admissions campaigns.
- Identify opportunities to generate new enquiries and strengthen relationships with prospective families and local communities.
- Maintain accurate admissions records,



lead trackers and follow-up schedules.
- Work towards admissions targets and contribute to the school's enrolment and growth objectives.
- Collaborate with the academic, marketing and administrative teams to ensure a smooth admissions experience.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in any relevant discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in sales, business development, lead conversion or customer acquisition, with a proven ability to achieve targets.
- Previous experience in school admissions, counselling, customer relations or the education sector is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
- Confidence in engaging with parents, building relationships and addressing enquiries professionally.
- Strong organisational skills and proficiency in basic computer applications.
- Experience using CRM systems, lead management tools or sales tracking platforms would be an advantage.
- A proactive, results-oriented approach with the ability to manage follow-ups independently.
- Willingness to participate in outreach activities and represent the school at external events.
