Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Account Manager to manage the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, import-related compliances, FMCG billing, stockist and distributor accounting, and team management.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of GST, TDS, IDPMS compliance, import payments and clearance, inventory monitoring, salary compliance, and preparation of financial statements up to finalization. The candidate will also coordinate with internal teams, auditors, stockists, distributors, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate financial records and timely statutory compliance.

2. Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Financial Reporting

- Manage day-to-day accounting, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and ledger scrutiny.
- Prepare and finalize P&L; statements, Balance Sheets, and periodic financial reports.
- Monitor cash flow, outstanding payments, and receivables.

FMCG Billing & Distribution

- Manage FMCG billing, invoices, credit notes, sales returns, and distributor claims.
- Track stockist/distributor sales, collections, outstanding balances, and account reconciliations.

Import Clearance & Payments

- Coordinate import clearance, customs documentation, and supplier payments.
- Liaise with banks, customs brokers, and freight forwarders for import-related transactions.

Taxation & Statutory Compliance

- Ensure timely GST and TDS filings, payments, reconciliations, and related compliances.
- Manage IDPMS compliance,



including reconciliation of import payments and Bills of Entry, and closure of pending entries with banks.
- Ensure timely completion of applicable statutory and tax requirements.

Payroll & Salary Compliance

- Supervise payroll accounting, salary processing, and statutory deductions.
- Coordinate PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, and other applicable payroll compliances with HR and consultants.

Stock, Free Supplies & Expense Monitoring

- Monitor stock movement, inventory reconciliation, stock discrepancies, and ageing.
- Track free supplies, promotional stock, schemes, and related accounting entries.
- Review company expenses, reimbursements, supporting documents, and budget variations.

Audit & Year-End Finalization

- Coordinate with internal and external auditors for annual audits, year-end closure, and statutory compliances.
- Prepare audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents for timely finalization of financial statements.

Team Management

- Supervise the accounts team, allocate responsibilities, and review work accuracy.
- Coordinate with Sales, HR, Warehouse, Procurement, and Management to ensure smooth financial operations.

3. Required Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CA Inter, CMA Inter, or equivalent professional qualification will be an added advantage.




- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting and finance operations.
- Experience in FMCG, distribution, trading, or import-oriented businesses will be preferred.
- Candidates with prior experience in the FMCG industry will be preferred.
- Strong practical knowledge of GST, TDS, IDPMS, import payments, and statutory compliances.
- Proven experience in P&L; and Balance Sheet preparation up to finalization.
- Experience in inventory accounting, stockist/distributor reconciliation, and free supply monitoring.
- Prior experience in handling an accounts team and coordinating with auditors.
- Candidates must be able to join within 15 days.

4. Required Skills

- Solid accounting, analytical, and reconciliation skills.
- Good understanding of taxation and statutory compliance.
- Knowledge of accounting software such as Tally ERP/Tally Prime, SAP, or other ERP systems.
- Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting.
- Strong coordination, communication, and team management skills.
- High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to meet strict deadlines.

5. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Timely completion of monthly accounts closure and financial reporting.
- Accuracy of P&L;, Balance Sheet, and ledger reconciliations.
- Timely filing and payment of statutory dues.
- Timely closure of import transactions and IDPMS entries.
- Accuracy of stock, distributor, and free supply reconciliations.
- Control over expenses, outstanding receivables, and payables.
- Timely completion of year-end audit and financial finalization.
- Effective supervision and productivity of the accounts team.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
