Portfolio Manager / Financial Analyst Intern

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Portfolio Manager / Financial Analyst Intern to support our investment and portfolio management team.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct financial and fundamental analysis of companies, startups, and investment opportunities.
- Track and monitor portfolio companies, investments, financial performance, and key business metrics.
- Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, valuations, and scenario analyses.
- Research industries, markets, competitors, and macroeconomic trends.
- Analyse financial statements, cash flows, profitability, growth, and unit economics.
- Support portfolio reviews and prepare investment/portfolio performance reports.
- Identify key risks, opportunities, and performance deviations across investments.
- Assist in preparing investment memos, presentations, dashboards, and management reports.
- Support due diligence and evaluation of current investment opportunities.
- Maintain accurate financial and portfolio data for decision-making.

Who We’re Looking For

- Strong interest in investing, financial markets, valuation, startups, and portfolio management.
- Strong analytical and numerical thinking.
- Good understanding of financial statements and basic accounting.




- Comfortable with Excel / Google Sheets and financial modelling.
- Strong research and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy and ownership.
- Able to work independently and question assumptions.
- Students/recent graduates from Finance, Economics, Commerce, Business, Engineering, CA/CFA/MBA or related fields are welcome.

Preferred

- Knowledge of valuation methods such as DCF, comparable companies, and precedent transactions.
- Understanding of portfolio construction, risk, and investment performance.
- CFA/CA/FRM/MBA coursework or relevant investment/finance experience.
- Prior experience with financial modelling, equity research, investment clubs, or startups.

What You’ll Learn

Hands-on exposure to financial modelling, valuation, investment research, portfolio monitoring, due diligence, risk analysis, and real-world investment decision-making, working closely with the investment team.

Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
