Patient Relations Intern

Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly, responsible, and proactive Patient Relations Intern to support patient communication, appointment coordination, follow-ups, and overall patient experience. The candidate will act as a link between patients, therapists, and clinic teams to ensure smooth coordination throughout the patient journey.

This role is ideal for candidates who have good communication skills, enjoy interacting with people, and are interested in gaining experience in healthcare operations and patient relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Patient Communication & Coordination

- Attend patient calls and respond to basic WhatsApp enquiries professionally.
- Assist patients with appointment bookings, rescheduling, and clinic-related information.
- Guide patients regarding clinic timings, consultation processes, and available services.
- Ensure timely responses to patient enquiries and coordinate with the relevant team when required.

2. Patient Follow-ups & Engagement

- Follow up with patients regarding upcoming appointments and missed sessions.
- Check in with patients regarding their experience and treatment continuity.
- Remind patients about scheduled consultations and follow-up visits.
- Maintain polite and professional communication with patients and their attendants.

3. Patient Experience & Relationship Management

- Help ensure a smooth and positive patient experience at the clinic.
- Listen to basic patient concerns and escalate clinical or operational issues to the appropriate team.
- Assist in collecting patient feedback and sharing it with the reporting manager.
- Support patient retention through regular communication and coordination.

Basic Counselling & Service Awareness

- Share basic information about Ahamyo's physiotherapy, rehabilitation, and wellness services.
- Help patients understand the appointment process and general treatment workflow.
- Coordinate with therapists or clinic in-charges when patients require treatment-related clarification.
- Refer package, pricing, and clinical queries to the concerned team member.

5. Reporting & Team Coordination

- Maintain basic records of patient calls, appointment status, and follow-up activities.
- Update patient details and communication remarks in Excel, Google Sheets, or the CRM.
- Coordinate with front-desk staff, therapists, and clinic management.
- Share daily updates and pending follow-ups with the reporting manager.

Required Skills

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in Hindi and basic English communication.
- Friendly, patient, and service-oriented attitude.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets.
- Good follow-up discipline and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and work collaboratively with a team.

Qualifications

- Graduate preferred; candidates pursuing graduation may also apply.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Prior experience in customer service, front desk, telecalling, or patient coordination is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
