NPD (New Product Development)

We are looking for a skilled and motivated NPD Engineer to manage new product development activities, including drawing study, process planning, prototype development, trials, and product launch. The candidate will coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development as per customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Study customer drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
- Handle new product development activities from initial feasibility to mass production.
- Prepare process flow charts, routing, and process planning for new products.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Quality, Purchase, and Tool Room departments.
- Plan and conduct prototype development and sample trials.
- Coordinate CNC/VMC machining trials and process development, wherever applicable.
- Ensure dimensional inspection and product validation as per customer drawings.
- Prepare and maintain APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, and other quality documents as applicable.
- Coordinate with customers for sample submission, feedback, and approval.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to reduce rejection, cycle time, and manufacturing cost.
- Ensure timely completion of new product development projects.
- Support the transfer of approved products from development to mass production.

Required Skills





- Knowledge of New Product Development in manufacturing.
- Understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.;
- Knowledge of CNC/VMC machining and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, and Control Plan.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments and dimensional inspection.
- Valuable communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and documentation.

Qualification & Experience

- Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in NPD, preferably in CNC/VMC or Auto Components Manufacturing.
- Freshers with relevant technical knowledge may be considered if the company allows.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
