Key Responsibilities

- Prepare the Operation Theatre for surgeries and procedures.
- Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and the OT team during surgical procedures.
- Perform scrub nurse and circulating nurse duties.
- Prepare and arrange surgical instruments, sterile supplies, and required equipment.
- Assist in preparing medications and materials required for Spinal Anesthesia (SA), General Anesthesia (GA), and Epidural Anesthesia (EA), under the supervision of the anesthetist.
- Maintain strict aseptic techniques, sterilization, and infection-control practices.
- Assist with patient preparation, positioning, surgical safety checklists, and transfer.
- Monitor patient safety and assist the anesthesia team during procedures.
- Maintain surgical instrument counts, including needles, sponges, and other consumables.
- Ensure proper handling and availability of OT equipment, surgical instruments, and supplies.
- Manage OT pharmacy stock, medications, consumables, and required materials.
- Prepare OT linen and ensure availability before procedures.
- Maintain accurate OT nursing records, surgical checklists, and documentation.
- Coordinate with surgeons, anesthetists, technicians, and nursing staff for smooth OT operations.
- Follow hospital protocols, patient-safety standards, and NABH guidelines.

Candidate Requirements





- GNM or B.Sc. Nursing – Mandatory
- Valid Nursing Council Registration – Mandatory
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as an OT Staff Nurse (Mandatory).
- Experience in scrub nursing and circulating nursing duties.
- Experience assisting in major surgical procedures.
- Positive knowledge of surgical instruments, OT equipment, and sterile techniques.
- Knowledge of anesthesia assistance, including GA, SA, and EA procedures.
- Familiarity with sterilization, infection control, and OT safety protocols.
- Ability to assist surgeons and anesthetists effectively during procedures.
- Experience in oncology or major surgical operation theatres preferred.
- Good communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts and emergency OT duties.
- Candidates from Pune preferred.

Important Requirement

Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of practical experience working as an Operation Theatre (OT) Staff Nurse.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
