JOB DESCRIPTION – 3D VISUALIZER / BIM MODELER

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior 3D Visualizer / BIM Modeler to support our architectural and interior design team, preferably for interior fit-out, retail, commercial interiors, hospitality, and Food & Beverage (F&B;) projects. The candidate will be responsible for developing accurate 3D architectural and interior models, preparing realistic renders, and creating BIM models based on design drawings, concepts, and project specifications. The role involves visualizing retail outlets, restaurants, cafés, food courts, commercial kitchens, and other commercial interior spaces; converting 2D drawings into 3D models; applying appropriate materials, textures, lighting, and finishes; updating models based on design revisions; and coordinating with design and MEP teams to support client presentations, design development, and project execution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Create detailed 3D models of retail outlets, showrooms, commercial interiors, restaurants, cafés, food courts, and other F&B; spaces based on project requirements.
- Convert 2D architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, sketches, and interior design concepts into accurate 3D models.
- Develop 3D models of interior layouts, furniture, fixtures, joinery, display units, counters, partitions, ceilings, and decorative elements.
- Prepare realistic 3D renders, walkthroughs, and presentation visuals to communicate design concepts, spatial arrangements, and proposed finishes.
- Develop and maintain BIM models using Revit or other relevant modelling software, as required by the project.
- Apply appropriate materials, textures, lighting, colours, finishes, and surface details to produce high-quality interior visualizations.
- Create 3D visualizations of retail displays, product shelving, reception counters, cash counters, service counters, and branded interior elements.
- Develop interior models for restaurants and cafés, including dining areas, seating arrangements, service counters, and kitchen-related spaces, based on approved design drawings.
- Coordinate with architects, interior designers, MEP engineers, and other project team members to ensure consistency across drawings and models.
- Coordinate ceiling designs, lighting fixtures, HVAC elements, and other visible building services with interior design requirements.




- Update 3D and BIM models based on design changes, client feedback, material selections, and revisions received from the design team.
- Check model dimensions, furniture layouts, joinery details, material finishes, and spatial arrangements for accuracy and consistency with approved drawings.
- Identify basic modelling errors, dimensional inconsistencies, and potential coordination issues, and report them to senior team members.
- Support model coordination and clash detection activities under the guidance of senior designers or BIM coordinators.
- Assist in preparing design presentations, rendered images, 3D views, material visualizations, and other visual documentation for client meetings.
- Ensure 3D models and renders accurately represent the intended design, project specifications, and selected materials.
- Maintain organized project files, model versions, render outputs, and drawing revisions.
- Follow project standards, modelling guidelines, naming conventions, and documentation procedures.
- Coordinate with senior designers and project teams to clarify design requirements and resolve modelling-related issues.
- Complete assigned modelling, rendering, and visualization tasks within project schedules and deadlines.
- Stay updated with software features, rendering techniques, materials, and industry practices related to interior visualization and BIM modelling.

REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

- Basic to intermediate knowledge of architectural design, interior design, 3D modelling, and visualization.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, reflected ceiling plans, and interior layouts.
- Familiarity with 3D modelling and rendering software such as SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, Enscape, Lumion, V-Ray, or similar tools.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD for reading drawings, understanding dimensions, and interpreting design details.
- Understanding of interior materials, textures, lighting, colour schemes, furniture, fixtures, and finishes.
- Ability to model retail displays, joinery,



furniture, counters, partitions, ceilings, and other interior fit-out elements.
- Basic understanding of commercial interior design requirements for retail outlets, restaurants, cafés, and food courts.
- Ability to convert 2D drawings into accurate 3D architectural and interior models.
- Basic knowledge of BIM concepts, model development, and project documentation.
- Understanding of spatial coordination between interior elements and MEP services.
- Knowledge of model coordination and clash detection will be an advantage, particularly for BIM-focused responsibilities.
- Good visual presentation skills, creativity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to understand design concepts and translate them into clear, realistic visualizations.
- Good communication and coordination skills to work effectively with architects, interior designers, and MEP teams.
- Willingness to learn new software, tools, and visualization techniques.
- Ability to manage assigned tasks, handle revisions, and meet project deadlines.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–4 years of relevant experience in 3D visualization, interior modelling, architectural modelling, or BIM modelling.
- Freshers with relevant software knowledge, training, internships, or a strong portfolio may also apply.
- Hands-on knowledge of SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, AutoCAD, Enscape, Lumion, V-Ray, or similar modelling and rendering tools will be preferred.
- Experience preparing 3D renders, interior visualizations, walkthroughs, and presentation materials will be an advantage.
- Experience in retail interiors, commercial fit-outs, restaurants, cafés, food courts, hospitality, or F&B; projects will be preferred.
- Exposure to modelling furniture, joinery, display units, retail fixtures, service counters, and customized interior elements will be beneficial.
- Familiarity with BIM workflows, model coordination, and clash detection is desirable for BIM-focused candidates.
- Ability to understand interior fit-out drawings, material specifications, and design revisions will be preferred.
- A portfolio of academic projects, personal projects, or qualified work demonstrating 3D modelling and visualization skills is preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
