Creative Writing Trainer

Location: Fort, Mumbai

Type: Part-Time

Working Days: Tuesday & Thursday

Timings: 8:15 AM to 2:45 PM

Responsibilities

- Conduct engaging and interactive Creative Writing sessions for students from primary onwards, as per the prescribed curriculum.
- Train students in storytelling, creative expression, vocabulary building, sentence formation, descriptive writing, and imaginative thinking.
- Conduct activity-based sessions using story prompts, picture compositions, poetry writing, and group storytelling activities.
- Encourage creativity, originality, and confidence while providing constructive feedback to improve students' writing skills.
- Plan, organise, and execute an end-of-programme showcase to highlight students' creativity, progress, and learning outcomes.
- Coordinate with schools and the Gyansthan team regarding schedules, curriculum, attendance, student progress, and programme requirements.

Eligibility Criteria

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, English Literature, Education, Journalism,



Mass Communication, or a related field is preferred.
- Candidates must have excellent English writing and communication skills, with a strong understanding of grammar, vocabulary, and creative writing techniques.
- Prior experience in Creative Writing, English Teaching, Content Writing, Storytelling, or School Training will be preferred.
- Must be comfortable teaching students from Grade 1 onwards and adapting teaching methods to different age groups.
- Solid classroom management, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to conduct engaging and activity-based sessions.
- Must be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Fort, Mumbai, and willing to work according to the school's timetable and requirements, including extended hours when necessary.
