Our client are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder/Fabricator to join their team in Ireland. Ireland visa sponsorship available for the overseas candidates.

Duties

- Fabricate components from drawings and instructions to ensure what is produced meets customer requirements
- Use MIG welder to produce goods as required from mild steel, Hardox and other metals
- Produce bespoke and small batch production jobs
- Quality check own work to ensure specifications are meet
- Operation of equipment under your control to ensure safety of yourself and others
- Maintaining good housekeeping in your work area, clearing spillages etc.
- Maintaining stock required for your work, reporting future requirements to your Manager promptly.
- Maintaining your machine in good working order, reporting faults to your Manager as necessary.
- Loading/ offloading despatches or deliveries as required.
- Operating gantries as required.
- Driving forklift as required if authorised and qualified to do so.




- Working with others in a cooperative manner to ensure an effective and harmonious atmosphere.
- Ensuring that your production time is allocated to the correct job.
- Any other duties as required from time to time by management which are within your competence to carry out

Experience

- Minimum 3 years experience in MIG welding/Fabrication
- Strong knowledge of fabrication processes involving sheet metal and structural components
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to assembly and fabrication tasks
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or workshop environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided where necessary
