Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Quality Engineer to manage quality inspection activities, maintain quality documentation, ensure product conformity, and support the implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS). The candidate should have practical knowledge of testing and measuring instruments, inspection procedures, non-conformity management, and quality audits in a manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct incoming material inspection, in-process inspection, and final inspection as per approved quality standards and checklists.
- Verify product dimensions, specifications, and quality parameters using appropriate testing and measuring instruments.
- Maintain and update inspection reports, QC checklists, test reports, and other quality records.
- Identify, record, and report Non-Conformities (NCs) and coordinate with concerned departments for corrective actions.
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and verify the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare Test Certificates and inspection reports as per customer requirements and approved quality formats.
- Monitor the calibration status of testing and measuring instruments and maintain calibration records.
- Support internal audits, ISO audits, customer audits, and third-party inspections.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 requirements, internal procedures,



work instructions, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, and other departments to resolve quality-related issues.
- Maintain proper identification, traceability, and control of inspected materials and finished products.
- Assist in customer complaint analysis and implement quality improvement measures.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and adherence to 5S and workplace safety requirements.
- Support the Quality Manager in achieving departmental quality objectives and reducing rejection and rework.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
- 4–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control in a manufacturing industry.
- Practical knowledge of inspection methods and testing and measuring instruments.
- Understanding of ISO 9001, internal audits, non-conformity management, RCA, and corrective actions.
- Ability to prepare and maintain quality reports, checklists, and test certificates.
- Knowledge of instrument calibration and quality documentation.
- Basic computer skills, including MS Excel and MS Office.
- Good communication, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience

Experience in electrical components, epoxy cast components, transformer components, or other industrial manufacturing processes will be an added advantage.

Candidate Profile

The candidate should be detail-oriented, technically sound, disciplined, and capable of independently handling routine quality inspection and documentation activities while coordinating effectively with Production and other departments.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
