Job Description:

We are looking for an Associate Technical Lead to drive end-to-end technical ownership—from solution architecture and hands-on development to DevOps collaboration and application modernization. The role involves building scalable enterprise applications, Autonomous AI Agents, AI-powered analytics, and integrating LLM capabilities into business solutions while mentoring engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and build scalable, secure, multi-tenant backend services, REST APIs and microservices on Node.js/NestJS.
Develop LLM-based solutions using RAG, embeddings, vector databases, function/tool calling and MCP.
- Build and deploy autonomous AI agents and contribute to the orchestrator/agent framework that will scale to many agents.
- Build AI-powered analytics and intelligent workflow automation, including forecasting and insights on employee data.
- Apply AI guardrails for a sensitive HR data context: role-based data access, PII handling, prompt-injection defence, evaluation and observability of LLM outputs.
- Support mobile-first requirements with secure, performant APIs for the iOS/Android app, including App Store-compliant authentication flows.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce engineering best practices, and mentor developers.
- Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD, cloud deployments, Docker, Kubernetes and release management.
- Ensure security, scalability, performance and reliability for a platform serving the whole enterprise workforce and future tenants.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on backend experience in Node.js, NestJS and TypeScript, Python (FastAPI or similar).




- Expertise in REST APIs, microservices, event-driven patterns and multi-tenant SaaS architecture.
- Hands-on experience building enterprise LLM applications and autonomous AI agents.
- Strong knowledge of RAG, vector search (Qdrant, Weaviate, OpenSearch or similar), embeddings, prompt engineering, MCP, tool calling and agent orchestration (LangChain, LlamaIndex or similar).
- Experience with Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Google Vertex AI or similar platforms.
- Solid grounding in identity and access: SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0/OIDC, LDAP, JWT, RBAC.
- Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL, MongoDB and Redis.
- Experience with AWS or Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD and Linux.
- Solid understanding of application security (OWASP, data privacy), Agile development, and testing frameworks (Jest or equivalent).
- Excellent communication, mentoring and leadership skills, including the ability to write design notes and explain trade-offs to engineers and business stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

- Experience migrating legacy PHP applications to a modern Node.js stack.
- Experience with Azure AI Foundry, AWS SES, OpenSearch and Firebase (Cloud Functions, push notifications).
- Exposure to React/Next.js and React Native/mobile backend patterns.
- Experience architecting enterprise platforms supporting 10,000+ users, or SaaS products with multiple tenants.
- Experience with HR-tech, employee experience or conversational AI assistants.
- Familiarity with LLM evaluation, cost optimization and observability tooling.
