Qualifications

- Must be a Registered Staff Nurse with valid nursing registration.
- GNM or B.Sc. Nursing qualification.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in a Labour Room and conducting delivery-related nursing care.Job Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to pregnant women during labour, delivery, and the immediate post-delivery period.
- Monitor maternal vital signs, fetal heart rate, and progress of labour.
- Assist doctors during normal vaginal deliveries and obstetric emergencies.
- Prepare and maintain the Labour Room, delivery instruments, and emergency equipment.
- Provide immediate newborn care and assist with neonatal resuscitation when required and appropriately trained.
- Monitor the condition of the mother and newborn after delivery.
- Maintain accurate labour records, delivery registers, and nursing documentation.
