About Yutrix Labs
Yutrix Labs is a Pune-based technology company building AI-native platforms for regulated and operations-heavy businesses. We are building an AI Restaurant Manager for a North American QSR franchise brand. It is an operating-control platform that watches inventory, food cost, food safety, service speed and loss prevention across restaurants. It flags exceptions with evidence and tells managers what to fix today.

We are looking for a domain lead who has run the back office of a QSR chain and wants to turn that experience into a product.

What you will do

- Own the business side of the product: inventory, purchasing and receiving, recipe and food cost, waste, cash control, HACCP/food safety, speed of service.
- Lead discovery workshops with the client’s operations, finance, procurement and QA teams, and with store managers.
- Turn SOPs and operating standards into system rules: thresholds, tolerances, severity levels, escalation paths and KPIs.
- Write user stories, process maps, acceptance criteria and UAT scripts for the engineering and AI teams.
- Define how theoretical vs actual food cost, inventory variance, receiving variance and cash exceptions are calculated and explained.
- Review POS, inventory and purchasing data to assess data quality and design dashboards and reports.
- Support the pilot restaurant go-live: training, threshold tuning, and feedback from store teams.
- Act as the trusted operations voice with the client, and challenge scope where it doesn’t match how restaurants really work.

What we are looking for





- 8–12 years in QSR or fast-casual chains, with at least 3–5 years in restaurant operations, cost control, supply chain or operations excellence at a multi-unit or franchise brand.
- Deep, hands-on knowledge of:
- Recipe/BOM costing, yields, portion standards and packaging BOMs
- Theoretical vs actual (AvT) food cost and variance analysis
- Inventory management: cycle counts, UOM conversions, FEFO/expiry, transfers, shrinkage
- Purchasing and receiving: par levels, reorder logic, 3-way match, price variance, supplier claims
- Store operations: opening and closing, waste capture, cash reconciliation, voids, refunds and discounts
- HACCP and food safety: temperature logs, holding times, cleaning, allergen control, audits
- Speed of service and KDS flow
- Franchise standards, audits and scorecards
- Experience working with technology teams on a POS, inventory, ERP or restaurant software rollout, as business owner or functional consultant.
- Strong analytical skills (advanced Excel; SQL is a plus).
- Excellent written and spoken English, and confidence running workshops with senior client stakeholders.

Positive to have

- Experience with restaurant systems such as POS/KDS, inventory and costing tools (e.g. Restroworks/Posist, MarketMan, Restaurant365, CrunchTime) or ERP purchasing modules.
- Central kitchen or commissary operations, halal or spec-compliant sourcing.
- Loss prevention or internal audit experience in F&B; or retail.
- Exposure to North American or Middle East QSR markets. French is a bonus.
