Job Brief : We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our facilities services team in India, specializing in fire safety systems. The role involves the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of fire detection and suppression equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with fire safety technologies, a strong understanding of safety protocols, and the ability to respond promptly to fire safety issues within diverse facility environments. This position plays a critical role in safeguarding personnel, property, and assets by maintaining optimal fire safety readiness across all company locations.

Responsibilities :

- Perform routine inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems, fire extinguishers, sprinkler systems, and other fire suppression equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in fire safety systems and execute timely repairs or coordinate with specialized vendors for complex issues.
- Ensure all fire safety equipment complies with local fire safety codes, standards, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal documentation standards.
- Collaborate with safety officers and facility managers to conduct fire drills and safety training sessions for employees.
- Respond promptly to fire safety alarms and incidents, providing technical support and assistance during emergencies.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of recent fire safety systems and upgrades to existing infrastructure.




- Monitor inventory levels of fire safety equipment and recommend procurement to maintain adequate stock.
- Stay updated on the latest fire safety technologies, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve fire safety measures.
- Support internal and external fire safety audits and inspections by providing necessary documentation and technical expertise.

- Proven knowledge of fire alarm control panels, sprinkler systems, and portable fire extinguishers.
- Familiarity with safety management systems and regulatory compliance requirements in India.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams related to fire safety equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team.
