Position: Safety Officer

Industry: Chemical / Specialty Chemical / Petrochemical

Location: Gujarat

Qualification: B.Sc./Diploma/Engineering + Safety Diploma

Mandatory: Diploma in Industrial Safety / ADIS / PDIS

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure compliance with Factory Act, GPCB, PESO, and other statutory safety requirements.
- Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments across the plant.
- Implement and monitor PTW (Permit to Work), LOTO, Confined Space Entry, and Hot Work procedures.
- Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct safety induction and training programs for employees and contractors.
- Monitor PPE usage and safety compliance in production and maintenance activities.
- Maintain safety records, incident reports, and statutory documentation.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness, mock drills,



and firefighting activities.
- Support HAZOP, JSA, and safety improvement initiatives.
- Promote a solid safety culture across the organization.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 2–3 years of experience in a chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, or process industry.
- Good knowledge of boilers, reactors, storage tanks, utilities, and hazardous chemical handling.
- Hands-on experience with PTW, LOTO, HAZOP, Fire Safety, Emergency Response, and EHS compliance.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
