Customer BOM review

- Review customer BOMs for completeness and accuracy: MPNs, manufacturers, descriptions, packages, quantities and reference designators
- Cross-check the BOM against Gerbers, the pick-and-place file and assembly drawings, and flag mismatches
- Identify obsolete, NRND, EOL, long-lead and single-source parts, and raise them with the customer before quoting
- Raise technical queries (TQs) with customers and track them until closed

BOM cost estimation

- Prepare BOM costing for RFQs using distributor pricing (Digi-Key, Mouser, Element14, Arrow, LCSC and others) and authorised local suppliers
- Account for MOQ, price breaks, attrition/wastage, reel versus cut-tape, freight, customs duty and GST in landed cost
- Support the commercial team with volume-based costing (prototype, pilot, mass production) and cost-down proposals

Alternate component identification

- Find form-fit-function alternates for passives, discretes, ICs, connectors and electromechanical parts
- Compare datasheets for electrical parameters, package and footprint,



temperature rating and compliance (RoHS, REACH)
- Document alternates and get customer approval (AVL/AML updates) before using any substitute

Procurement and supplier coordination

- Raise RFQs and purchase orders, and negotiate price and lead time with distributors, franchised suppliers and approved brokers
- Track open orders, expedite critical parts and keep material ready for production schedules
- Assess supplier risk, and avoid counterfeit or non-genuine parts by sourcing only through authorised channels

Inward BOM verification

- Verify incoming material against the PO and BOM: MPN, manufacturer, quantity, date code, lot number, packaging and MSL
- Coordinate with stores and IQC on discrepancies, shortages and rejections, and close them with suppliers
- Ensure moisture-sensitive devices are handled and stored correctly

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
