Job Opening: NPD Engineer (New Product Development)

Department: Engineering / New Product Development (NPD)
Experience: Minimum 3 Years
Qualification: Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field
Location: Oragadam

We are looking for a skilled and motivated NPD Engineer to join our engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for developing current products, preparing 3D models and 2D engineering drawings, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop new products based on customer requirements and design specifications.
- Create and modify 3D models and 2D engineering drawings.
- Work with design software such as Creo, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and manufacturing teams for product development.
- Support prototype development, testing, and design validation.
- Identify design improvements to enhance product quality, performance, and cost-effectiveness.




- Prepare and maintain engineering documentation and technical drawings.
- Ensure designs meet quality standards and manufacturing requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Engineering background in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Hands-on experience with at least one 3D CAD/design software, such as Creo, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD, is mandatory.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings and design principles.
- Knowledge of product development and manufacturing processes.
- Good problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
