- Job Responsibilities
- Develop, write, and modify CNC turning programs using G-code and M-code.
- Operate and set CNC turning machines as per production requirements.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and GD&T.;
- Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, speeds, feeds, and machining parameters.
- Perform tool setting, offset adjustments, and program prove-out.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy and product quality using measuring instruments.
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to minimize rejection and cycle time.
- Implement continuous improvement activities such as Kaizen, 5S, and cycle-time reduction.
- Maintain production records and follow safety and quality standards.
- Qualification
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in CNC Turning Programming and machining.
- Required Skills
- Knowledge of G-code, M-code, and CNC programming.




- Experience with Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi controllers.
- Knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T;, and precision measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of tool selection, machining parameters, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of quality tools such as 7 QC Tools, 8D, and CAPA will be an advantage.
