Educational Qualification
- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily shop floor operations and achieve production targets.
- Implement and maintain 5S, Kaizen and continuous improvement practices.
- Manage manpower allocation, machine utilisation and production workflow.
- Monitor product quality, rejection, rework and process compliance.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, workplace safety and quality standards.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance and Stores departments.
- Maintain daily production reports, MIS and shop floor documentation.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–4 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing/shop floor operations.
- Practical knowledge of 5S implementation, Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen.
- Experience in manpower handling, production planning and process improvement.
- Knowledge of quality control, machine operations and industrial safety.
- Basic proficiency in MS Excel and production reporting.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates from Transformer Components, Rubber Gaskets, Rubber Processing, Electrical Insulation Products or related manufacturing industries.
- Experience in transformer manufacturing or allied electrical products will be preferred.
- Strong shop floor supervision, problem-solving and team management skills.
