The F&B; Host/Hostess is responsible for welcoming and greeting guests, managing reservations, coordinating seating arrangements, and ensuring a warm and professional first impression. The role focuses on guest satisfaction, smooth restaurant operations, and maintaining the hotel's hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome and greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
- Manage restaurant reservations, walk-in guests, and seating arrangements.
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus when required.
- Maintain the waiting list and communicate estimated waiting times.
- Answer telephone calls, handle inquiries, and confirm reservations.
- Coordinate with restaurant service staff to ensure smooth seating and service.
- Monitor table availability and manage guest flow during busy periods.
- Handle guest requests, feedback, and complaints courteously.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the entrance, reception, and waiting areas.
- Communicate special occasions, VIP arrivals, and guest preferences to the service team.




- Maintain accurate reservation records and guest information according to hotel policies.
- Follow hotel grooming standards, etiquette, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Assist in coordinating special events, group bookings, and restaurant functions.
- Ensure guests receive a positive and memorable dining experience.

Qualifications and Skills

- Minimum 10+2 qualification; a diploma or degree in Hotel Management is preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Pleasant personality and professional grooming.
- Strong customer service and guest-handling skills.
- Good telephone etiquette and reservation management skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm during busy periods.
- Teamwork, patience, and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of hotel reservation systems is an advantage.
- Previous experience in hotel or restaurant operations is preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
