A family in Worli, Mumbai is looking for a caring, reliable and experienced live-in househelp cum cook. You will look after our 7-year-old daughter and prepare fresh, healthy vegetarian meals for the family of three. This is a long-term, live-in position for the right person.
Househelp Responsibilities
- Get her ready for school
- Supervise homework and encourage reading, play and creative activities
- Keep her secure, clean and well-cared-for at all times, and keep parents updated during the day
- Keep her room, clothes and belongings neat and organised
Cooking Responsibilities
- Plan and cook fresh, healthy, home-style vegetarian meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks)
- Cook child-friendly meals and tiffin for school
- Maintain kitchen hygiene and keep the kitchen clean
- Help keep track of groceries and kitchen supplies
What We're Looking For
- Good vegetarian cooking skills (Indian home food); knowledge of healthy and kid-friendly recipes is a plus
- Patient, warm, responsible and trustworthy
- Clean, well-groomed and hygienic
- Able to communicate in Hindi; basic English or Marathi is a plus
- Willing to live in with the family
- References from previous employers will be required; police verification will be done before joining
