1. Job Summary

Responsible for managing quality inspection activities, maintaining quality standards, monitoring CNC/VMC machined components, handling customer complaints, and ensuring that products meet drawing specifications and customer requirements.

2. Key Responsibilities

- Monitor incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections.
- Inspect CNC/VMC machined components as per engineering drawings.
- Handle measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, and Dial Gauge.
- Verify dimensional tolerances and surface finish requirements.
- Maintain inspection reports, rejection reports, and quality documentation.
- Identify defects and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Coordinate with Production and Maintenance teams to reduce rejection and rework.
- Monitor PPM, rejection percentage, and quality performance.




- Handle customer complaints and support root-cause analysis using 5 Why and Fishbone methods.
- Ensure calibration of measuring instruments and maintain inspection records.
- Follow 5S, Kaizen, and applicable quality procedures.

3. Required Skills

- Knowledge of CNC/VMC machining processes.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T; basics.
- Experience with dimensional inspection and measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of 7 QC Tools, CAPA, and root-cause analysis.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 is preferred.
- Good coordination and team-handling skills.
