About the Role

3Wheels.AI is looking for a detail-oriented CAD Engineer with knowledge of computer-aided design and hands-on experience with SolidWorks. Freshers with relevant CAD skills and a strong willingness to learn are welcome to apply.

The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of engineering drawings, 3D modelling, and CAD design principles.

Key Responsibilities

- Create, modify, and maintain 2D drawings and 3D CAD models using SolidWorks.
- Develop accurate engineering designs based on technical requirements.
- Work with 3D modelling, assemblies, and part design.
- Interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, and design specifications.
- Review CAD models for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Identify and correct design errors or modelling inconsistencies.
- Maintain proper documentation and organize CAD files.
- Collaborate with the team on design-related tasks and project requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering,



Automobile Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks is preferred.
- Understanding of 2D drafting, 3D modelling, and engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with dimensions, tolerances, assemblies, and technical specifications.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical design principles.
- Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
- Freshers with relevant CAD knowledge and practical project experience are encouraged to apply.

Good to Have

- Experience with SolidWorks Part Design, Assembly Design, and Drawing modules.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or other CAD software.
- Understanding of GD&T; and engineering standards.
- Academic projects, internships, or a portfolio demonstrating CAD skills.
