About the Role

Databrain Technology is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Laravel Developer with 1–1.5 years of hands-on experience in backend and web application development. In this role, you will help build, scale, and maintain custom web applications, internal tools, CRMs, and robust RESTful APIs.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.

Design and implement clean, secure, and well-documented RESTful APIs for mobile and frontend integrations.

Write efficient, optimized database queries and manage database schema migrations, seeders, and models using MySQL.

Integrate third-party services and APIs (payment gateways, WhatsApp/SMS services, webhooks, authentication providers).

Collaborate with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, and team leads to ship features on time.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across existing codebases to improve overall application performance.

Participate in version control workflows using Git (branching, commits, pull requests).

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience:



1–1.5 years of professional software development experience primarily working with Laravel and PHP.

Database Management: Strong knowledge of MySQL, database design, indexing, relationships, and Laravel Eloquent ORM.

API Development: Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs, handling JSON, authentication (Sanctum/Passport), and status codes.

Core Web Tech: Working understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and AJAX.

Tooling & Version Control: Familiarity with Git/GitHub, Postman, and Composer.

Problem Solving: Valuable debugging skills, analytical mindset, and willingness to learn new technologies quickly.

Good to Have (Bonus Skills)

Experience with frontend libraries or blade-driven UI packages (Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, or Vue.js/React).

Basic understanding of server deployment (cPanel, Ubuntu/Linux VPS, Apache/Nginx).

Exposure to queuing systems (Redis, Laravel Queues) or asynchronous jobs.
