Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible Billing Incharge to oversee daily billing operations, supervise billing staff, ensure accurate patient billing, and maintain smooth coordination between the billing department, reception, insurance/TPA, pharmacy, and other hospital departments.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage day-to-day hospital billing operations for OP, IP, emergency, and discharge billing.
- Ensure accurate preparation of bills, invoices, receipts, refunds, and payment records.
- Monitor patient admissions, billing updates, advances, final settlements, and discharge clearances.
- Verify billing entries, package rates, discounts, concessions, and approvals as per hospital policy.
- Coordinate with insurance and TPA departments for cashless approvals, billing documentation, and claim processing.
- Monitor outstanding payments, pending bills, credit bills, and daily collection reports.
- Supervise billing executives and prepare duty schedules as required.
- Verify daily cash closing, billing summaries, and handover reports.
- Resolve patient billing queries and complaints professionally.




- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, and accounts for accurate billing.
- Ensure proper maintenance of billing records and compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Support internal audits, NABH documentation, and financial record verification.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and financial records.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of hospital billing procedures and revenue cycle management.
- Experience in hospital billing software and MS Excel.
- Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
- Accuracy in calculations, cash handling, and financial documentation.
- Ability to handle patient queries and resolve billing-related issues.
- Good coordination, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of insurance, TPA, and cashless billing procedures is preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Candidates with prior experience in a multispecialty hospital are preferred.
- Should be capable of independently managing billing operations and a billing team.
- Must be responsible, organized, patient-friendly, and detail-oriented.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per hour
