Job Overview

The Poke Co. is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Purchase Manager to manage end-to-end procurement activities for its cloud kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in vendor management, price negotiation, sourcing quality ingredients, inventory planning and cost optimisation.

The candidate will be responsible for developing reliable vendor relationships, ensuring the timely availability of raw materials and maintaining quality standards while controlling procurement costs.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end purchasing and procurement activities for cloud kitchen operations.
- Identify, evaluate and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, credit periods and delivery schedules with vendors.
- Source fresh vegetables, seafood, meat, poultry, rice, sauces, condiments, packaging materials and other kitchen supplies.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and ensure consistent product quality and timely deliveries.
- Compare quotations and negotiate competitive rates to optimise procurement costs.
- Coordinate with kitchen and operations teams to understand daily and weekly procurement requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels,



consumption patterns and stock availability to prevent shortages and overstocking.
- Ensure the quality, freshness and specifications of all purchased ingredients.
- Maintain purchase orders, vendor agreements, invoices and procurement records.
- Monitor market prices and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Establish alternative suppliers to minimise supply disruptions.
- Coordinate with accounts for invoice verification, payment follow-ups and vendor reconciliation.
- Minimise food wastage and support efficient inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with applicable food safety, hygiene and procurement standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Graduate in Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality or a related field.
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in purchase and procurement within the Food & Beverage industry.
- Prior experience with cloud kitchens, restaurants, QSRs, hotels or multi-outlet food businesses is preferred.
- Strong expertise in vendor management and price negotiation.
- Good understanding of food ingredients, perishables, packaging materials and kitchen consumables.
- Experience in inventory control, cost optimisation and purchase planning.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and purchasing or inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication, analytical and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace and manage multiple procurement requirements efficiently.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
