1. Job Overview

We are seeking a result-oriented and self-driven Sales Executive to drive business development and sales for our rooftop solar EPC solutions. The candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, acquiring customers, managing the complete sales cycle, and achieving revenue targets. This role offers an opportunity to contribute directly to the growth of an emerging solar energy company.

2. Key Responsibilities

- Generate leads through cold calling, field visits, referrals, networking, digital enquiries, and channel partners.
- Develop new customers across residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional segments.
- Conduct client meetings and site visits to assess rooftop solar requirements and electricity consumption.
- Present solar solutions, project proposals, cost estimates, potential savings, and return on investment.
- Coordinate with engineering and estimation teams for technical feasibility, system sizing, and commercial quotations.
- Manage customer follow-ups, negotiations, and the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order closure.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, builders, consultants, contractors, and business partners.
- Coordinate with project and installation teams to ensure a smooth customer handover.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities.
- Maintain sales pipelines, CRM records, and periodic sales reports while achieving assigned targets.

3. Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.




- 3–5 years of experience in solar sales, rooftop solar EPC, renewable energy, or electrical project sales preferred.
- Basic understanding of solar modules, inverters, rooftop installations, and project costing.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and customer relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, email, and sales reporting tools.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently in a growing startup environment.

4. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Qualified leads generated and customer meetings completed.
- Number and value of confirmed orders.
- Monthly sales revenue and solar capacity secured (kWp).
- Lead conversion rate and project profitability.
- Customer relationship development and timely payment follow-ups.

5. Compensation & Benefits

- Annual CTC: ₹3.6 LPA – ₹5.0 LPA, based on qualifications, experience, and skills.
- Annual Salary Revision: Subject to individual performance and company policy.
- Business Travel Expenses: Reimbursement of approved official travel expenses as per company policy.
- Performance Incentives: Additional sales incentives based on achievement of defined targets and applicable company policies.
