Senior PLC Programmer – Special Purpose Machines (SPM)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior PLC Programmer with strong hands-on experience in programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting Special Purpose Machines (SPM) in a manufacturing workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs for Special Purpose Machines (SPM).
- Program and configure PLCs based on machine operation and production requirements.
- Develop HMI screens, alarm systems, and machine operating sequences.
- Work with servo motors, VFDs, sensors, actuators, and pneumatic systems.
- Integrate PLCs with electrical control panels and industrial automation equipment.
- Perform machine commissioning, testing, debugging, and cycle-time optimization.
- Troubleshoot electrical and automation-related issues during machine operation.
- Coordinate with mechanical design, electrical, and production teams.
- Ensure machine safety, interlocking, and reliable machine operation.
- Provide technical support during installation, trials, and production ramp-up.





Required Technical Skills

- Hands-on experience in PLC programming for SPM and automated machinery.
- Knowledge of Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, Allen-Bradley, or other industrial PLC platforms.
- Experience with HMI programming, servo systems, and VFD configuration.
- Knowledge of electrical drawings, control circuits, and industrial automation.
- Ability to independently handle machine programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
