Skill Set:

Key Responsibilities

- Supplier Management & Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable local and global suppliers for heavy mechanical, electrical, or structural components used in wind turbine gearboxes.
- Negotiation & Cost Optimization: Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers to achieve target cost reductions, favorable payment terms, and high-quality standards.
- Procurement Operations: Oversee end-to-end purchase-to-pay (P2P) cycles, including issuing Purchase Orders (POs), tracking delivery schedules, and resolving invoice discrepancies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Quality Assurance (SQA), Production Planning, Logistics, and R&D; to ensure uninterrupted material flow and zero line stoppages.
- Risk Management & Compliance: Monitor supplier health, mitigate supply chain bottlenecks, and ensure compliance with company policies, environmental standards, and ISO guidelines.
- Vendor Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular KPI reviews (OTIF - On-Time In-Full, quality PPM, and cost compliance) and implement corrective action plans (CAPA)



for underperforming vendors.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.E. / B.Tech) in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering. An MBA in Supply Chain Management or a relevant certification (e.g., CIPS, APICS) is an added advantage.
- Experience: 10 to 15 years of hands-on technical purchase or strategic sourcing experience, preferably in heavy engineering, automotive, or wind energy manufacturing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (such as SAP), data analysis tools, and reading engineering drawings or specifications.
- Soft Skills: Robust negotiation, leadership, vendor management, and analytical skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹900,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
