Job Summary

G.D. Goenka Public School, Kolkata, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Cricket Coach to train students, develop their sporting abilities, and prepare school teams for inter-school competitions, tournaments, and other sporting events. The ideal candidate should have sound technical knowledge of cricket, relevant coaching qualifications, and experience in handling school-level sports programmes.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct structured cricket coaching sessions for students across different age groups and skill levels.
- Teach batting, bowling, fielding, wicketkeeping, game strategies, and match techniques.
- Identify talented students and prepare school teams for inter-school competitions and tournaments.
- Organise and supervise cricket matches, practice sessions, and school sports events.
- Plan training schedules and monitor students' performance and progress.
- Ensure proper use, maintenance, and protected handling of sports equipment.
- Maintain discipline, sportsmanship, teamwork, and physical fitness among students.
- Ensure student safety and follow all school guidelines during training and competitions.

Required Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor's in any Domain from a recognized university is Mandatory
- Relevant coaching certification, sports qualification, or formal training in cricket is preferred.




- Proven experience in cricket coaching, preferably in a school, academy, sports club, or recognised institution.
- Practical experience in organising or participating in cricket tournaments, matches, or sporting programmes.
- Demonstrated ability to train students and manage teams effectively.
- Sound knowledge of cricket rules, techniques, fitness requirements, and safety practices.
- Experience in preparing students for inter-school or other competitive sporting events will be an advantage.
- Relevant certificates, coaching credentials, and supporting documents must be available for verification.
