We are looking for an experienced Purchase Executive

Industry: Electrical Tower Manufacturing
Location: Salt Lake, Kolkata
Experience: 3–6 Years
Salary: ₹20,000–₹35,000 per month
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities for electrical tower manufacturing.
- Source and develop reliable vendors and suppliers for raw materials, steel, fabrication items, electrical components, and other required materials.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate rates, and finalize purchase orders.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials as per production and project requirements.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and pending materials.
- Maintain purchase records, vendor databases, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Coordinate with production, stores, accounts, and quality departments for smooth procurement operations.
- Monitor material quality, delivery timelines, and supplier performance.




- Ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards.
- Verify invoices and coordinate with the accounts team for payment processing.

Requirements

- 3–6 years of experience in purchase and procurement, preferably in electrical tower manufacturing, steel fabrication, or a related engineering industry.
- Knowledge of raw materials, steel sections, fabrication materials, and industrial components.
- Robust vendor negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer applications; ERP or purchase management software knowledge is an advantage.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple purchase orders and deadlines.
