- Policy and Compliance: Ensures that unit operations comply with hospital policies, government regulations, and accreditation standards. [1, 2]
- Resource and Supply Control: Monitors and orders medical supplies, checks equipment maintenance and emergency readiness, and tracks inventory. [1, 2]
- Reporting and Documentation: Compiles shift reports on patient census, admissions, discharges, critical incidents, and staff productivity
