Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer with 5–8 years of experience in civil construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for implementing quality assurance and quality control procedures, conducting site inspections, ensuring compliance with approved drawings and project specifications, and maintaining quality documentation in accordance with applicable standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement and monitor the project Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) plan.
- Inspect civil construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
- Conduct inspections for reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, and finishing works.
- Prepare and review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and checklists.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and site execution teams for inspections and approvals.
- Raise and close Inspection Requests (IRs/WIRs) and Material Inspection Requests (MIRs).
- Monitor concrete quality, including slump tests, cube sampling, compressive strength results, and pour documentation.
- Ensure testing of construction materials such as cement, steel, aggregates, concrete, blocks, and other approved materials.
- Review Material Test Certificates (MTCs), laboratory test reports, and material approvals.
- Identify non-conformities, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports, test reports, calibration certificates, and quality registers.
- Conduct internal quality audits and support client or third-party inspections.




- Verify that measuring and testing equipment is calibrated and maintained.
- Monitor workmanship and prevent quality deviations and rework.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.
- Assist in preparing project quality dossiers and final handover documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable IS codes, project specifications, and ISO 9001 quality management requirements.

Required Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in QA/QC for civil construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction practices, quality inspections, and material testing.
- Experience in preparing and maintaining QA/QC documentation.
- Familiarity with relevant IS codes, approved drawings, project specifications, and inspection procedures.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of QA/QC procedures, ITPs, Method Statements, and checklists.
- Experience with NCRs, corrective actions, and quality audits.
- Knowledge of concrete technology and construction material testing.
- Ability to interpret civil and structural drawings.
- Positive documentation, reporting, and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Excel.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, and construction teams.

- Compliance with project quality standards and specifications.
- Timely completion and approval of inspections.
- Reduction in NCRs, defects, and rework.
- Timely closure of corrective actions.
- Accuracy and completeness of quality documentation.
- Compliance with material testing and inspection schedules.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in residential, commercial, high-rise, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Experience coordinating with client representatives and third-party laboratories.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems and project-specific quality requirements.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per year
