About the Role

We are looking for a commercially sharp, hands-on logistics professional to build and scale our pan-India third-party logistics (3PL) warehousing and courier network from the ground up.

This is a high-ownership role for someone who can identify the right partners, negotiate competitive commercial terms, establish operational SLAs and improve fulfilment performance through data-driven decisions.

You will initially operate as an individual contributor, with the opportunity to build and lead a logistics team as the business scales.

Key Responsibilities

- Build a pan-India 3PL network: Identify, evaluate and onboard warehousing partners across multiple states.
- Design the fulfilment network: Analyse order volumes and pincode-level demand to optimise warehouse locations, delivery speed and shipping costs.
- Lead commercial negotiations: Negotiate courier rate cards, freight contracts, COD charges, SLAs, damage liability, shrinkage and penalty clauses.
- Drive cost optimisation: Benchmark zone-wise freight rates, optimise courier allocation and reduce cost per shipment.
- Manage technology integrations: Coordinate WMS/OMS integrations, Shopify connectivity, inventory synchronisation and order/returns workflows.
- Own logistics performance: Monitor delivery TAT, RTO, NDR, first-attempt delivery, inventory accuracy and cost per order.
- Manage reverse logistics: Improve COD reconciliation, returns processing, inventory reconciliation, billing accuracy and shipment exception resolution.
- Drive partner accountability: Conduct performance reviews, resolve recurring operational issues and implement measurable corrective actions.

What We're Looking For

Must-have experience

- 6–9 years in logistics,



supply chain or fulfilment within D2C/e-commerce, 3PL or courier operations.
- Hands-on experience onboarding and managing multi-location 3PL warehouses.
- Strong commercial negotiation skills across courier partners, freight rates and warehouse contracts.
- Experience with shipping aggregators, WMS, OMS, Shopify or marketplace integrations.
- Working knowledge of COD operations, RTO/NDR management, reverse logistics and courier billing.
- Ability to analyse logistics data and demonstrate measurable improvements in cost, TAT, delivery success or RTO.

Preferred background

- Experience across both brand-side D2C/e-commerce and 3PL/courier operations.
- Exposure to quick-growing FMCG, healthcare or shelf-life-sensitive product categories.
- Working knowledge of multi-state inventory placement and related GST implications.
- Experience building a fulfilment network from the ground up.
