1. Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic CCNA Faculty / Networking Trainer to deliver high-quality technical training to students and working professionals. The candidate should have strong theoretical knowledge and practical expertise in computer networking, Cisco technologies, network configuration, troubleshooting, and routing and switching.

The faculty member will be responsible for conducting practical lab sessions, preparing students for industry-recognized certifications, and helping them develop the technical skills required for networking and IT infrastructure careers.

2. Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Training

- Conduct classroom and lab sessions on CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) and networking fundamentals.
- Teach OSI and TCP/IP models, IP addressing, subnetting, and network protocols.
- Provide hands-on training in routing, switching, VLANs, trunking, inter-VLAN routing, and STP.
- Teach static routing, OSPF, ACLs, NAT, DHCP, DNS, and basic network security.
- Demonstrate network configuration using Cisco routers and switches, Packet Tracer, and GNS3.
- Explain network troubleshooting techniques and real-world networking scenarios.

Academic Responsibilities

- Prepare lesson plans, presentations, lab manuals, assignments, and practical exercises.
- Conduct assessments, quizzes, practical examinations,



and mock certification tests.
- Monitor student performance and provide individual guidance where necessary.
- Maintain attendance, academic records, and student progress reports.
- Update course content in line with current networking technologies and CCNA exam objectives.

Student Development & Placement Support

- Prepare students for CCNA certification examinations and technical interviews.
- Conduct networking projects, practical demonstrations, and interview preparation sessions.
- Support placement activities through technical assessments and mock interviews.
- Guide students in building practical networking skills relevant to industry requirements.

3. Educational Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Networking, or a related field.
- Relevant networking certifications such as CCNA are preferred.
- Equivalent practical experience and strong networking expertise will be considered.

4. Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, and switching.
- Practical experience with Cisco networking equipment and network simulation tools.




- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a straightforward and understandable manner.
- Strong student mentoring and time management skills.

5. Experience

- Preferred: 1–3 years of experience in networking training or IT networking.
- Freshers with strong networking fundamentals, CCNA certification, and good teaching skills may also apply.

6. Preferred Additional Skills

- Knowledge of CCNP-level networking concepts.
- Familiarity with Linux administration, Windows Server, network security, and cloud networking.
- Industry experience in network administration, technical support, or IT infrastructure.
- Experience conducting online and offline training sessions.

7. Performance Expectations

- Deliver quality theoretical and practical training as per the institute's syllabus.
- Maintain student satisfaction, engagement, attendance, and academic progress.
- Complete the syllabus within the prescribed schedule.
- Ensure students gain practical networking knowledge and certification readiness.
- Coordinate with the academic team and support student placement initiatives.
