Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and analytical professional to work across Production, Research & Development (R&D;), and Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications in chemical manufacturing.

The role involves supporting production processes, assisting with chemical formulation development, analysing laboratory and production data, and exploring AI-based solutions to improve product quality, process efficiency, and consistency.

We welcome candidates with a background in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering who have an interest in AI, as well as Computer Science or AI graduates who are eager to learn chemistry and industrial manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in monitoring and improving chemical manufacturing processes.
- Support R&D; activities, including formulation development, laboratory trials, and product testing.
- Analyse production data, laboratory results, and quality parameters to identify trends and potential improvements.
- Use AI tools such as ChatGPT and other relevant applications for technical research, problem-solving, and formulation analysis.
- Use Microsoft Excel and, where applicable, Python or other data analysis tools to organise and interpret technical data.
- Help maintain records of formulations, experiments, production batches, and test results.
- Investigate variations in product properties such as colour, viscosity, and other quality parameters.
- Work with Production, R&D;, and Quality Control teams to resolve technical issues.
- Explore opportunities to apply AI, data analytics, and automation to improve manufacturing and R&D; activities.
- Prepare technical reports and present findings to the management team.




- Follow plant safety procedures and approved operating practices.

Required Skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Interest in chemical manufacturing, scientific research, and technology.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data handling.
- Familiarity with AI tools and their practical applications.
- Good communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in both a manufacturing plant and an R&D; laboratory.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of Python, AI/ML, data analytics, or statistical analysis.
- Understanding of chemical reactions, formulations, resins, polymers, or industrial processes.
- Experience with laboratory testing, production data, or technical research.
- Academic projects or practical experience combining AI and scientific problem-solving.

Freshers with strong technical aptitude and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

The ideal candidate is curious, technically inclined, and interested in applying AI and data analysis to real-world manufacturing challenges. The candidate should be willing to learn chemical processes, work closely with experienced technical teams, and validate AI-generated suggestions through scientific reasoning and practical testing.
