Job Description We're seeking a Lead Software Engineer for a leading technology-focused product organization. This candidate will serve as a technical leader responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable cloud-based software solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in modern development technologies such as C#, Java, or Python, along with strong Azure cloud experience, infrastructure automation, containerization, and CI/CD best practices. This individual will solve complex distributed systems challenges, drive architectural improvements, build reusable engineering frameworks, and collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality software products. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning technical solutions, mentoring engineers, and leveraging emerging technologies including AI to improve both products and engineering processes. Skills and Requirements - 9-13+ years of software development experience within a product-based company
- Strong backend development experience with C#, Java, or Python
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs, distributed systems, and scalable cloud applications
- Solid database expertise including SQL, LINQ, and Entity Framework
- Hands-on Azure cloud experience including application hosting, serverless services, messaging/event-driven architecture, API management, storage, monitoring, security, and networking
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar tools




- Experience with Docker containerization, image management, and cloud deployments
- Front-end development experience with JavaScript and React
- Experience with Git-based source control and collaborative development workflows
- Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to drive engineering efficiency and innovation
- Test automation experience
- Experience with algorithm optimization, operations research, or large-scale data processing
- Experience with microservices architectures and event-driven systems
- Exposure to container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, AKS, etc.)
