Role Description

Prepare appropriate reporting, analysis, and consultation to customers related to capital SER's,



SCP's and SOR's based on company policy and GAAP requirements. Lease accounting as per ASC 842. Interface with process suppliers and customers in order to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures. Work closely with functional and IT teams to understand the intricacies of the asset accounting system to further promote process improvement. Stay abreast of current accounting standards and interpret the impact on capital asset accounting for Eastman.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and monitor SER's, SOR's and SCP's.

• Capitalize and verify asset data in SAP ERP using the asset module.

• Ensure company policy and GAAP rules are applied to capital related decisions.

• Liaison with engineering, tax department and maintenance on capital issues and audits.

• Provide support to integrating new SAP companies into Capital asset module.

• Lease accounting as per ASC 842
