Responsibilities
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability testing on systems and applications.
- Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and respond to security incidents.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect sensitive data and systems.
- Develop and execute penetration testing plans to identify potential vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are followed across the organization.
- Stay updated with the latest security trends, threats,
and technology solutions.
- Provide training and awareness programs for employees on cybersecurity best practices.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3-13 years of experience in cybersecurity and ethical hacking.
- Robust knowledge of networking protocols and security technologies.
- Experience with penetration testing tools (e.g., Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap).
- Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Understanding of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other security solutions.
- Certifications such as CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), CISSP, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
