Job Description We're seeking a Lead Platform SWE for a leading healthcare technology organization. This individual will join the Developer Experience and Cloud Platform Engineering team and play a key role in building scalable cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, self-service tooling, and reusable engineering frameworks. The ideal candidate will have deep Azure expertise, strong Infrastructure as Code experience, and a passion for improving developer productivity through platform engineering best practices. This role will focus on cloud governance, observability, CI/CD standardization, and secure infrastructure design while partnering closely with security, architecture, and application teams to accelerate software delivery across the organization. Skills and Requirements - 10-14 years of Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or DevOps experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (PaaS, cloud-native services, networking, security, governance)
- Expertise with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
- Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD platforms
- Experience building self-service platforms, reusable templates, and automation frameworks
- Robust understanding of cloud governance, RBAC, Policy as Code, tagging, compliance, and secrets management
- Experience designing and supporting cloud landing zones and subscription management strategies
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architectures




- Experience with observability tools and practices (logging, metrics, tracing, monitoring, alerting, SLOs/SLAs)
- Experience driving Developer Experience (DevEx) initiatives, engineering standards, and platform adoption
- Exposure to AI-assisted engineering tools and automation
- Experience building internal developer platforms (IDPs)
- Experience implementing secure-by-default cloud architectures
- Experience creating golden paths and standardized deployment patterns
- Experience partnering with security and architecture teams on enterprise cloud initiatives
