Experience band: 7–10 years
Writes the customs enforcement logic that runs inside the gateway on every request.
Responsibilities
- Builds Go plugins and small services: model-registry enforcement, data-classification policy, integration adapters, kill-switch tooling
- Sets up CI, contract tests and versioning for plugins built against a vendor plugin API
- Defines and implements a typed error taxonomy for calling applications
Must have
- 7+ years in backend engineering, at least 3 in Go
- HTTP middleware, reverse proxies, gRPC, concurrency and performance-sensitive code
- Solid automated-testing discipline
Nice to have
- WASM
Familiarity with OpenAI-compatible LLM APIs and streaming responses.
