Job Description
Support engineering in designing, developing, and delivering secure, scalable backend solutions using JavaScript and Node.js. The role combines hands-on development, distributed microservices architecture, cloud engineering across Azure and AWS, database expertise, technical guidance, and stakeholder collaboration to enable reliable and efficient software delivery.

Responsibilities
• JavaScript and Node.js: Solid hands-on expertise in building, debugging, testing, and maintaining production-grade backend applications and services.

• Distributed microservices architecture: Experience designing scalable, resilient, loosely coupled services, including synchronous and asynchronous communication patterns.

• API engineering: Strong knowledge of REST APIs, API design, versioning, validation, error handling, authentication, authorization, and secure integration practices.

• MongoDB and Cosmos DB: Practical experience with data modelling, indexing, query optimization, partitioning, performance tuning, and operational troubleshooting.

• Microsoft Azure:



Experience with relevant Azure application, integration, monitoring, identity, security, networking, and deployment services.

• Amazon Web Services: Working experience with AWS application hosting, serverless, storage, database, monitoring, identity, security, and deployment services.

• Cloud-native engineering: Experience with containers, Docker, Kubernetes, configuration management, resiliency, scalability, and twelve-factor application principles.

• DevOps and CI/CD: Experience integrating build, test, security, deployment, and quality controls into automated delivery pipelines.

• Observability and reliability: Knowledge of structured logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, incident investigation, root cause analysis, and performance optimization.

• Security engineering: Understanding secure coding, secrets management, dependency risk, data protection, identity controls, and cloud security practices.
