Overview

The .NET Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining reliable software solutions using modern Microsoft technologies. The role requires a solid hands-on developer with 2–5 years’ experience who can work confidently with modern .NET technologies including C#, .NET 6/7/8 or later, ASP.NET Core, Web API, RESTful services, and modern application development practices. The role also requires good SQL capability, preferably across SQL Server or Oracle, and practical exposure to modern UI frameworks such as React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. The developer will work closely with technical leads, business analysts, testers, architects, and delivery stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, well-tested, performant, and maintainable applications across enterprise platforms. Basic awareness of legacy .NET technologies is desirable to support existing applications and contribute to gradual modernisation where required.

• Contribute to the delivery of modern, secure, scalable,



and maintainable applications using C#, .NET 6/7/8 or later, ASP.NET Core, Web API, REST APIs, Entity Framework or similar ORM/data-access patterns, and relational databases.

• Apply sound engineering practices including clean coding, SOLID principles, unit testing, code reviews, source control discipline, and effective technical documentation.

• Support continuous improvement by adopting relevant tools, automation, cloud services, secure development practices, and AI-assisted engineering responsibly where appropriate.

Operational Management

• Analyse business and technical requirements, clarify assumptions, and contribute to solution design with guidance from technical leads and architects.
