About the team
The Credentialing Team plays a vital role in protecting the organization by conducting client due diligence, credentialing reviews, and verification activities for new and existing customers. We partner with stakeholders across the business to ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements while supporting protected, efficient, and compliant client onboarding and ongoing relationship management.
What You Will Be Doing
• Conduct credentialing reviews for Financial Institution (FI) and Non-Financial Institution (Non-FI) clients to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and contractual obligations.
• Evaluate client documentation, perform due diligence reviews,
and validate business legitimacy using internal systems, public records, and approved verification sources.
• Manage implementation, risk-based, and branch verification credentialing activities for new contracts, contract amendments, renewals, and new branch locations.
• Perform background checks and cross-reference information against various databases and official sources to identify potential compliance risks and ensure data integrity.
• Analyze credentialing requests, identify exceptions or risk indicators, and escalate complex cases to leadership when necessary.
• Maintain accurate case records, trackers, and supporting documentation while ensuring compliance with established service level agreements (SLAs) and quality standards.
• Partner with internal stakeholders including Contract Administration, Finance, Documentation Management, and Compliance teams to facilitate timely onboarding and re-credentialing activities.
