The Assistant Manager – Accounts (Collection) will be responsible for achieving collection targets, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring timely recovery of receivables. The role involves proactive follow-ups, dispute resolution, credit control monitoring, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth cash flow. The position also requires maintaining accurate records of advances, TDS certificates, and ledgers while driving customer satisfaction through effective communication and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collections & Credit Control

• Monitor and execute monthly collection targets (Target: ≥85%).

• Achieve and maintain Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) at 60 days.

• Minimize bad debts to ≤0.5% of total outstanding annually.

• Track customer compliance with credit limits (Standard: 60 days).

2. Customer Follow-ups & Escalations

• Follow up with customers to resolve billing/payment queries.

• Handle difficult customers and escalations with timely solutions.

• Maintain positive customer relationships to ensure on-time payments.





• Resolve invoice disputes within 15 days.

3. Billing, Ledger & Advance Management

• Identify and report billing queries weekly to the billing team, monitor closure.

• Keep ledgers updated by adjusting payment advice against collections.

• Reconcile unused funds and advances – ensuring proper re-billing to avoid revenue loss.

• Ensure ledgers (Cr, Dr, adjustments) are fully updated by 31st March each year.

4. Customer Service Excellence

• Maintain proactive communication channels with customers regarding credit status, payment obligations, and updates.

• Ensure timely resolution of TDS-related issues and collection of correct certificates before due dates.

• Measure service delivery on time and quality perspective.
