Position: Technical Writer
Type: Contract
Compensation: $80–$85/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 5 hours/day

Role Responsibilities

- Review paired AI-generated developer-facing writing against a client's task brief and writing guide.
- Evaluate CLI help text, error messages, and API reference documentation for technical accuracy.
- Select preferred samples or flag ties and provide a one-line reason with supporting tags.
- Transparent a calibration gate against a known-answer test set before moving to live data.
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while ensuring high-quality outputs.

Qualifications

Must-Have





- Led developer documentation at a major tech company.
- Comfortable writing or evaluating CLI help, error messages, and API references.

Preferred

- Prior experience rating AI-generated writing.
