Position Summary...
As a Staff Engineer at Walmart, you will be a senior technical leader responsible for solving complex engineering problems and driving technical strategy across multiple teams and products. You will combine deep hands-on engineering expertise with the ability to influence architecture, product direction, engineering standards, and execution across organizational boundaries.

You will work closely with Product, Business, Architecture, and Engineering teams to translate complex business problems into scalable technical solutions. You will provide technical leadership from problem discovery and architecture through implementation, production deployment, and continuous improvement, while remaining sufficiently hands-on to prototype and build critical solutions.

You will also play a key role in advancing AI-native engineering, leveraging modern AI capabilities and developer tools to improve both customer experiences and engineering productivity

The Omni Services at IDC owns several areas of the Store Services in Digital Retail like Wireless, BPO, SIM and ACC . We are responsible for architecture, design and delivery of programs within the areas we own. We work on Backend Technologies hosted on premises , Cloud Hosted and Applications across Web, Android and IOS for Walmart US markets. This eco system uses Core java Technologies, Azure Cloud Technology

What you'll do:
· Embed directly with Walmart business teams and customers to understand their workflows, uncover high-value problems, and turn ambiguity into explicit technical plans.
· Own complex initiatives end-to-end, from discovery and rapid prototyping through production deployment, adoption, and continuous improvem
