Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and data-processing applications using C# and .NET technologies.

- Build scalable and reliable solutions for processing and transforming large volumes of trading, client, and reference data.

- Develop integrations across multiple internal and external data sources.

- Implement reporting logic for regulatory obligations across different reporting regimes and jurisdictions.

- Design and maintain data pipelines supporting XML, JSON, CSV, FIXML, and other regulatory message formats.

- Develop and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and complex queries.

- Build resilient event-driven solutions using messaging technologies and distributed architecture principles.

- Participate in architectural discussions, technical design reviews, and code reviews.

- Troubleshoot complex production issues and support incident resolution.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand regulatory requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Contribute to continuous improvement in engineering standards, automation, testing, monitoring, and observability.

Your profile

Curious engineer who enjoys understanding complex business domains and solving challenging technical problems. Has strong analytical skills, pays close attention to detail, and comfortable working with systems where data quality, accuracy, and reliability are critical.

To succeed in this role, we expect:

- 5+ years of experience in software development using C# and .NET technologies.

- Solid hands-on experience with .NET Core / .NET.

- Strong understanding of object-oriented design and software engineering principles.

- Solid experience with Microsoft SQL Server, database design, and query optimization.

- Experience building backend services, APIs, and data-processing applications.

- Experience working with large and complex datasets.

- Understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architectures.





- Experience with Apache Kafka or a similar messaging platform.

- Experience with XML, JSON, XSD schemas, and data-transformation techniques.

- Knowledge of microservices architecture and service-oriented design patterns.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred skills

- Experience with financial services, capital markets, trading platforms, or regulatory reporting.

- Knowledge of reporting regulations such as MiFIR, MiFID, EMIR, SFTR, ASIC, MAS, or similar regulatory frameworks.

- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.

- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

- Experience with gRPC and distributed service communication.

- Familiarity with observability tools, monitoring, and production-support practices.

- Experience working in highly regulated environments.
