• The Platform Engineering department within Foundational Technologies provides innovative engineering platforms and digital solutions that enable efficient service and product development across Siemens Mobility. Our mission is to empower engineering teams with reliable, integrated, and intelligent software solutions that improve productivity, standardization, and engineering excellence.
• We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Technical Lead / Local Architect to join our engineering team supporting Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) solutions built around the MagicDraw ecosystem. This role combines software architecture, hands-on development, technical leadership, and AI-enabled software engineering practices.
• The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in Java-based enterprise software development, experience with Eclipse-based platforms and plugin architectures, and the ability to design scalable, maintainable solutions. The candidate will work closely with global architects and product owners to develop and enhance MagicDraw plugins, model management solutions, reporting frameworks, code generation tools, and cloud-based model collaboration platforms.
